Fidya e Takheer (Fidya for delay in Qadha fasts of Ramzan)

If someone did not fast in Ramzan due to any reason and intentionally did not make up to keep fast until next Ramzan he must pay Fidiya e Takheer.

Fidya for fasts of Ramzan

fasting is obligatory in the holy month of Ramadhan. If one intentionally breaks or a fast (sawm) in this month, the individual is obliged to keep a Qadha fast as well as to give Kaffarah for each fast.

Kaffara for vows and covenant

A vow is when a person makes it obligatory (wājib) for the sake of Allah to perform a good deed or to refrain from doing something that is better not to do.
If a person volitionally does not fulfil his vow, he must give kaffārah.

Kaffara of Oath

If you break your oath for any reason, you should be obliged to give kaffarah for it.
